Love this picture, but I really thought there would be a closer parallel to Judas in Da Vinci's painting (to speak nothing of the fact that there are 13 "apostles" surrounding Locke, and not 12). I suppose if things were that easy, however, this wouldn't be Lost.

The relative degree of shock expressed on the faces of Sun and Miles (i.e. apostles James and Andrew) suggests to me that maybe this shot is meant as a mirror image of Da Vinci's painting. If that's the case, you could make a strong argument that Judas is rendered as Ben Linus. This would also dovetail nicely with Mark's theory that the seasons of Lost are written in some type of symmetrical manner.

Either way, the mere fact that this photo continues the theme of Locke's Island rebirth that has been present literally from the opening frames of the series (and cemented in the final shot of Season 5) is simply terrific.
