I think it depends on what you're looking for from the film. I thought it was a really interesting portrait of the mind of an "artist," and the technical details associated with the feat were duly fascinating. In short, Petit's force of personality pushed it over the top for me.

I know i'm in the minority on this but I thought it was kind of boring. If that makes me kind of boring then so be it.

i had never heard about this event and i was enthralled. unfortunately, i am now plagued with nightmares. he steps, he falls!!!
saw it a month ago and loved it. just listening to the french guy's testimonials was enough. he's totally nutso
Rossman also did that in 1996. Nobody made a movie out of that!
