Excepting the point that we recognize letters by the shape of the top of those letters, just what does this article teach us?

"Hey kids, here's a new way to learn cursive: slant your regularly printed letters slightly to the right!"

"But I've been doing that for years."

"Here's the thing, though: you can choose to join those letters invisibly in the air OR on the page, simply by varying the height of your pencil!"

"That's patently self-evident. I guess what I'm asking is..."
