'Doomsday' Seed Vault Opens in Arctic
LONGYEARBYEN, Norway -- Norway opened a frozen "doomsday" vault Tuesday deep within an Arctic mountain where millions of seeds will be stored to safeguard against wars or natural disasters wiping out food crops around the globe.

Or, failing that, we need to get Chris Kelly's seed in there.
Damn you, Tim. I was gonna say that!
I will take the responsibility of planting the seeds after a fatal disaster but I pose one question. After a fatal disaster, where am I supposed to plant them?
If an extinction-level event were to occur, I'd personally be more concerned about the insatiable roving zombie armies than re-seeding the earth. Tulips and sunflowers won't distract the undead from their monomaniacal focus on our delicious, plump brains, Melanie.
